Description
Classic Italian dessert made with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.
Ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 375 g mascarpone
- 75 g sugar
- Coffee
- 25 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder
- Vanilla extract
- Caramel (optional)
Instructions
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
- In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy.
- Add the mascarpone and vanilla extract, then gently mix.
- Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the previous mixture.
- Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee and place them at the bottom of a dish.
- Spread a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat by alternating layers of ladyfingers and cream.
- Finish with a layer of cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Drizzle with caramel if desired.

Serve chilled, decorated with extra cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
