- 250ml strong brewed coffee
- 500g mascarpone cheese
- 100g dark chocolate, melted
- 4 eggs, separated
- 100g sugar
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy. Melt dark chocolate and mix it in.
- Fold the mascarpone into the zabaglione mixture until smooth.
- Soak the biscuits in the strong coffee for a quick dip.
- Layer soaked biscuits in a dish for presentation.
- Spread a layer of choc-mascarpone cream over the biscuits. Repeat layering until ingredients are used up.
- Finish with a cream layer on top and refrigerate overnight.
Notes
Patience is key; letting the tiramisu chill overnight enhances the flavors. Avoid over-soaking the biscuits.
