Description

A delightful and easy Alsatian tart featuring sweet and juicy mirabelle plums topped with a light almond cream.


Ingredients

  • Pâte sablée (sable dough)
  • Crème d’amandes (almond cream)
  • Liqueur de mirabelle
  • Mirabelles dénoyautées (pitted mirabelles)
  • Abricots ou prunes (substitutes: apricots or plums)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sable dough and line it in a tart pan.
  2. Mix the almond cream with the mirabelle liqueur.
  3. Spread the almond cream on the dough.
  4. Arrange pitted mirabelles on top of the cream.
  5. Bake until the tart is golden.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

The tart can be stored for up to 3 days. Be patient before cutting, let it cool properly!
