Ingredients

  • 4 citrons jaunes
  • 25 cl d’eau
  • 250 g de sucre
  • 2 citrons
  • 400 g de mascarpone
  • 25 cl de crème liquide
  • 4 jaunes d’œufs
  • 70 g de sucre
  • 5 cl de limoncello
  • Environ 20 biscuits cuillères

Instructions

  1. For the candied lemons, peel the yellow lemons and cut them into quarters. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar to make a syrup. Add lemons and simmer until tender.
  2. For the mascarpone cream, whisk the egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Add mascarpone, liquid cream, and limoncello, then mix.
  3. In a dish, layer ladyfinger cookies, then the cream, followed by another layer of cookies and finish with cream.
  4. Decorate with candied lemons and refrigerate before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, adding lemon zest for decoration and mint for color. Best consumed within 2-3 days.
