This cozy soup combines chicken, noodles, and fresh vegetables for a heartwarming dish perfect for lazy evenings.
Ingredients

- 1 kg de poulet entier
- 200 g de nouilles
- 2 carottes moyennes
- 2 branches de céleri
- 1 gros oignon
- 2 gousses d’ail
- 1 litre de bouillon de volaille
- Herbes fraîches (thym et persil)
- Sel et poivre (to taste)
Instructions
- In a large pot, add the whole chicken and cover it with 1 litre of chicken broth.
- Chop the onion into quarters and add it, along with the smashed garlic cloves.
- Slice the carrots and celery and add them to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
- Let it simmer for about an hour.
- Remove the chicken from the pot and let it cool slightly before shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
- Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
- Add the noodles and let them cook for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add fresh herbs before serving hot in deep bowls.
Notes
Feel free to toss in whatever extra veggies you have, and don’t skip the herbs for added flavor!
