Description

A soft, chocolate-filled brioche that creates sweet memories and is perfect for breakfast or with a cup of coffee.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 10g yeast
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 100g melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • Nutella
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms.
  4. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a uniform rectangle.
  6. Spread a generous layer of Nutella over the rolled-out dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to form a roll.
  8. Cut the rolled dough into equal pieces (about 5-6 cm) and place them in a buttered baking dish.
  9. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store at room temperature for up to 3 days in an airtight container. For longer storage, refrigeration is possible but may affect texture.
