Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 200 g smoked bacon (lardons)
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g grated Gruyère cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Nutmeg, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust in the Thermomix by mixing the ingredients for 20 seconds.
  2. Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a frying pan, cook the bacon until golden brown.
  4. In the Thermomix, beat the eggs, cream, Gruyère, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Add the cooked bacon to the mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture over the pie crust.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes or until the quiche is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Avoid rushing to cut the quiche right after baking to prevent burns.
