- 1 pie crust
- 200 g smoked bacon (lardons)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Gruyère cheese
- 3 eggs
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Nutmeg, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust in the Thermomix by mixing the ingredients for 20 seconds.
- Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish.
- In a frying pan, cook the bacon until golden brown.
- In the Thermomix, beat the eggs, cream, Gruyère, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Add the cooked bacon to the mixture.
- Pour the mixture over the pie crust.
- Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes or until the quiche is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Avoid rushing to cut the quiche right after baking to prevent burns.
