Description

A crispy chicken dish with a savory Parmesan crust paired with a creamy Alfredo sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 100g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Paprika (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 80g grated Parmesan cheese (for the sauce)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix together 100g grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture until well covered.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a pan and brown the chicken breasts on both sides.
  6. Place the browned chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. For the Alfredo sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in 80g of grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
  9. Serve the crispy chicken breasts with a generous drizzle of the Alfredo sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, add crushed cornflakes to the breadcrumb mixture. Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor. Add red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.
