Description

Delightfully simple mini tarts filled with strawberry jam and fresh strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut out small circles, about 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Place a small amount of strawberry jam in the center of each circle.
  4. Top each jam dollop with sliced strawberries.
  5. Fold the dough to create a small pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Avoid skipping preheating the oven and don’t overstuff the dough with jam. Sealing the edges properly will prevent mess.
