- 1 premade pie crust
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and cut out small circles, about 3 inches in diameter.
- Place a small amount of strawberry jam in the center of each circle.
- Top each jam dollop with sliced strawberries.
- Fold the dough to create a small pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Avoid skipping preheating the oven and don’t overstuff the dough with jam. Sealing the edges properly will prevent mess.
