Delicious and easy-to-make mini croque monsieur bites, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 8 slices of cheese (emmental or gruyère)
- Butter
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On one slice of bread, place a slice of ham, then two slices of cheese.
- Cover with another slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Repeat the process for the remaining mini croque monsieur.
- Place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
- Serve hot!

For added flavor, don’t hesitate to add extra cheese or herbs and spices.
