Description
A delicious, oversized chocolate chip cookie that is crispy on the edges and chewy in the center, perfect for sharing.

- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g brown sugar
- 125 g butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 200 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamy mixture and blend until incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Form a large dough ball and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten the ball slightly to form a disk.
- Bake for about 15-18 minutes until the edges are golden and the center remains soft.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Store the cookie in an airtight container for 3-5 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
