- 200 g rolled oats
- 100 g chopped nuts (almonds or hazelnuts)
- 50 g sunflower seeds
- 50 g chia seeds
- 1 pinch of salt
- 120 g honey or maple syrup
- 80 g melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, chopped nuts, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- With slightly damp hands, form balls using about 30 g of the mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let them cool on a rack before enjoying.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. They can also be kept at room temperature for up to a week.
