Instructions
- Prepare the sausages: Skewer each sausage onto a wooden stick, ensuring they are secure.
- Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and add the milk. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until you achieve a smooth batter.
- Heat the oil: In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat.
- Coat the sausages: Dip each sausage into the batter, ensuring they are fully covered.
- Fry: Carefully lower the coated sausages into the hot oil. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drain: Remove the corn dogs and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
