Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Mix in the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- If desired, fold in walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 60 minutes.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
