- 500g mirabelles
- 4 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 250g mascarpone
- 100g maïzena
- 1 packet baking powder
- 300ml milk
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease a clafoutis dish with butter.
- Wash and pit the mirabelles.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Add the mascarpone and whisk until well combined.
- Fold in the maïzena and baking powder.
- Gradually add the milk while stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Place the pitted mirabelles in the bottom of the greased dish.
- Pour the batter over the mirabelles to cover them.
- Bake for about 40 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure the mixture is lump-free and consider adding a touch of vanilla for extra flavor.
