Description

A quick and easy tiramisu recipe that combines creamy mascarpone with coffee-soaked ladyfingers for a delicious dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 ml espresso
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder
  • Amaretto (optional)

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl, whisk the yolks with the sugar until pale.
  2. Add the mascarpone and mix until smooth.
  3. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the mascarpone mixture gently.
  4. Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee (and amaretto if using) and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, finishing with a mascarpone layer on top.
  7. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.

Notes

Ensure not to over-soak the ladyfingers and give the dessert enough chilling time for best flavor.
