- 100g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 200g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 100g chocolate chips
- 125g butter (for cookie layer)

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200g flour (for cookie layer)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda (for cookie layer)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a saucepan, melt 100g of dark chocolate and 100g of butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix 200g of sugar and 2 eggs until creamy.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the bowl, stirring to combine.
- Incorporate 100g of flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt, mixing gently.
- Add 100g of chocolate chips to the brownie mixture.
- In a separate bowl, cream 125g of butter with 100g of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 200g of flour, and 1/2 tsp baking soda, mixing until just combined.
- In a lined baking dish, spread the brownie batter, then layer the cookie dough on top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden on top and slightly gooey in the center.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
